Iris Global and Uniline national distribution partnership targets deeper market expansion

The Iris Global and Uniline national distribution partnership marks a significant move in India's power solutions market, bringing together manufacturing strength, channel reach, and financial enablement. The alliance is targeting a Rs 200 crore business milestone while expanding access to mission-critical power solutions across the country.

Uniline Energy Systems, known for its portfolio of UPS systems, inverters, and solar power solutions, is looking to accelerate its market penetration through Iris Global’s nationwide distribution ecosystem. For a company that has built deployments across banking, defence, healthcare, telecom, and infrastructure sectors, the partnership adds a stronger route to market at a time when demand for reliable power infrastructure continues to grow.

Distribution reach meets financial enablement

A key aspect of the partnership is the scale of Iris Global’s network. With coverage across more than 19,000 pin codes and a partner ecosystem exceeding 10,000 members, the distributor brings immediate market access for Uniline.

Beyond reach, the alliance highlights another important factor in channel-led growth: partner readiness. Iris Global’s due diligence framework is expected to help Uniline connect quickly with credible and project-ready partners while reducing onboarding risks.

The company is also leveraging structured financial support through NBFC-aligned credit facilitation. This element could prove particularly important for partners handling large government and enterprise projects, where liquidity and execution timelines often determine project success. The move also strengthens Iris Global's position in B2B IT hardware credit facilitation in India initiatives.

Dr. R.K. Bansal, Founder & MD, Uniline Energy Systems, said the partnership combines channel strength, due diligence, and financial enablement to support rapid expansion plans.

Focus shifts to lithium-ion UPS manufacturing

The partnership comes as Uniline continues investing in indigenous lithium-ion battery-based UPS manufacturing. The company reported more than 22% growth in the previous financial year, supported by demand from telecom, IT, and surveillance projects.

Its manufacturing strategy reflects a broader focus on backward integration. By building in-house capabilities around advanced energy storage systems, the company aims to improve production speed, cost efficiency, and project execution capabilities.

This approach is expected to support deployments in Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets, where demand for reliable backup power is growing alongside infrastructure development.

Building the next phase of growth

The company is also preparing to expand its presence through new offices and service centres in Goa, Bhubaneswar, and Jammu. Combined with the support of an Uniline Energy UPS distributor network in India and an expanding ecosystem of Uniline Energy authorised channel partners, the move is designed to strengthen service coverage and market access.

According to Sanjiv Krishen, Founder & CMD, Iris Global Services, the partnership brings together manufacturing expertise, distribution strength, and financial support to address India's growing need for dependable power infrastructure.

The alliance is expected to support a projected 75% growth trajectory for Uniline this fiscal year. More importantly, it highlights how distribution scale, channel trust, and local manufacturing are increasingly becoming the foundation for growth in India's evolving digital and infrastructure ecosystem.
