Security teams are dealing with more external risk signals than ever, but finding the right information can still mean moving between dashboards, filters and reports. The RiskProfiler MCP Connector is designed to change that workflow by letting authorised users ask questions about external risk through compatible AI assistants.
The connector provides conversational access to information held within the RiskProfiler platform, including changes to an organisation’s external attack surface, third-party risk, credential exposure, digital threats and ongoing security operations.
The important distinction is that RiskProfiler remains the underlying intelligence platform and system of record. The AI assistant becomes another way to explore that information without replacing the controls or data behind it.
MCP Connector connects AI assistants with authorised data
The Model Context Protocol provides a standard way for compatible AI applications to request information and functions from connected systems. RiskProfiler is applying that model to its own platform through the RiskProfiler MCP Connector.
When an authorised user asks a question, the connector can translate it into permitted queries or functions within the customer’s RiskProfiler environment. Results are then returned to the AI assistant for presentation and further analysis.
That approach puts access control at the centre of the workflow. The underlying platform continues to enforce permissions while supplying customer-specific intelligence and investigation context.
AI threat intelligence can span multiple risk signals
The connector is also designed to bring different external risk areas into the same investigation. An analyst looking at a domain, for example, can request related exposure, digital-threat, vulnerability, credential and third-party information and then narrow the investigation through follow-up questions.
This builds on RiskProfiler’s KnyX AI capability, which is designed to collect and correlate evidence, investigate threat signals, generate confidence-scored findings and support remediation based on customer-defined policies.
The conversational layer can also support a daily security briefing. Depending on configuration and permissions, this can highlight attack-surface changes, new findings, vendor-risk shifts, brand and identity threats, and pending assessment activity.
