TCS launches Oracle AI Data Platform Lab in Kolkata for enterprise AI growth

Artificial Intelligence adoption is moving into a new phase where enterprises are looking beyond experiments and focusing on practical deployment. TCS launches Oracle AI Data Platform Lab in Kolkata to help organisations address some of the biggest challenges around fragmented data, slow analytics cycles and limited AI scalability.

The new facility, launched in collaboration with Oracle, is designed to support businesses in building stronger AI foundations. The lab will focus on helping customers turn enterprise data into actionable intelligence through reusable architectures, industry solutions and accelerators.

A new approach to enterprise AI challenges

Many organisations struggle with AI adoption because their data environments are spread across multiple systems and are difficult to manage. The new Oracle AI Data Platform Lab and Center of Excellence aims to simplify this journey by creating a platform where businesses can test, develop and deploy AI solutions more effectively.

Located at Delta Park Lords, Kolkata, the facility will support the journey from AI ideas to real-world implementation. TCS also plans to expand Oracle AI Data Platform Labs and CoEs across four additional cities in India over the next three years.

The initiative brings together Oracle technologies including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Autonomous AI Database and OCI Enterprise AI. The platform is designed to make enterprise data AI-ready and support the development of agentic applications.

Building AI capabilities with cloud and data

The focus of the initiative is not only on introducing AI tools but also on creating the right foundation for businesses to use them effectively. Reusable cloud architectures for rapid AI scaling will help organisations build AI applications while reducing complexity during deployment.
