Tiger Analytics appoints Prakash Arunachalam amid IPO plans

Tiger Analytics appoints Prakash Arunachalam as its Global Head of Operations, bringing an experienced technology executive into a role focused on operational efficiency, agility, profitability and sustained growth. The appointment also comes as the company looks ahead to a potential IPO in the years ahead.

Prakash will take on a mandate similar to that of a Chief Operating Officer. His role will cover the broader operational engine of the business, including scaling global teams and strengthening the foundations needed for its next stage of growth as a full-stack AI company.

Executive appointment puts operations in focus

The appointment gives Tiger Analytics an operations leader with experience across large global technology organisations. Prakash most recently served as President and Chief Operating Officer at Servion, where he was also a board member.

Before that, he held leadership roles at Virtusa and Polaris. His experience includes managing large global teams, building hyperscaler partnerships, running sales organisations and overseeing large-scale delivery. He has also managed large P&Ls and played a key role in the acquisition and integration of the two organisations.

His background spans digital customer experience, automation, data and AI, with significant experience in the BFSI sector.

For Tiger Analytics, the focus now appears to be on turning that experience into greater operating scale. Co-founder Pradeep Gulipalli said Prakash's ability to scale operations and manage large P&Ls would be important to the company's next growth phase.

Operations leadership meets a wider growth plan

The role is broader than day-to-day operations. Prakash is expected to help Tiger Analytics strengthen efficiency and agility while supporting growth and profitability.

He also brings experience in transformation and acquisitions. That could matter as the company works on its M&A journey, an area Prakash specifically highlighted when discussing his new role.

Prakash said he was joining Tiger Analytics after watching the company build its reputation over 15 years and evolve into a full-stack data and AI company. He also pointed to the opportunity to scale operations, drive growth, shape the M&A journey and prepare the company for a potential IPO.

What the executive appointment signals

The appointment puts operations leadership at the centre of Tiger Analytics' next chapter. Rather than focusing only on technology capabilities, the company is adding leadership around scale, profitability, global teams and business execution.

Tiger Analytics appoints Prakash Arunachalam at a point when the company says it is preparing for a broader growth phase. His experience across operations, P&Ls, acquisitions, data and AI gives the new mandate a wide scope.

For now, the clearest takeaway is that Tiger Analytics is looking beyond simply expanding its AI business. The company is also building the operating structure it believes will support its next phase, including a potential IPO in the years ahead.
