BUSY Magic AI accounting software brings smarter automation to MSMEs

For many small businesses, accounting software is often the first serious step toward digital operations. But the move can also feel complicated, especially when teams are used to manual records, spreadsheets and disconnected tools. BUSY Infotech is now trying to lower that entry barrier with BUSY Magic, its new business management and accounting platform for India’s MSMEs.
The BUSY Magic launch brings accounting, billing, inventory, GST and business reporting into a single environment. The platform combines a simpler interface, guided workflows and AI-led automation, targeting both first-time software users and growing businesses.
BUSY Magic brings AI-led automation to MSME accounting
The focus is not only on recording transactions. BUSY Magic gives business owners a single dashboard covering sales, purchases, cash and bank positions, receivables, payables, stock ageing, low-stock items, pending orders, challans, e-way bills and e-invoices.
One of its key features is AI Voucher Scan & Automatic Bank Reconciliation. It can capture voucher details from scanned documents, helping reduce manual data entry, while also matching bank statements with accounting entries.
This points to a wider shift in the India MSME AI accounting platform space. For smaller businesses, the value of AI may lie less in complex technology and more in removing repetitive work from everyday operations.
A connected approach to business management
BUSY Magic is aimed at retailers, distributors, wholesalers, manufacturers, traders and service-led businesses. Its goal is to help these organisations move from manual records and spreadsheets toward a more structured digital setup.
The platform also includes Smooth Sync, which enables bi-directional data transfer between businesses and Chartered Accountants. This is designed to reduce routine back-and-forth and support compliance and audit workflows.
For an AI-powered business management software platform, that connected approach could be important. Business owners, accounting teams and tax professionals often work across the same data but may not operate from the same workflow.
BUSY Magic launch comes as BUSY expands its reach
The BUSY Magic launch also comes as BUSY continues to build its presence in the MSME market. The company reported Rs.170 crore in billing and Rs. 44.5 crore in EBITDA in FY 2025–26. It sold more than 4.42 lakh software licences and has a 354-member team, supported by more than 800 channel partners across over 1,000 towns and cities.
