Cellecor product portfolio expands from phones to homes

Cellecor Gadgets has spent nine years building a brand that now looks very different from where it started. What began with distribution and mobile devices has expanded into a broad consumer electronics business covering wearables, entertainment, personal devices, home appliances and kitchen products.

The company marked its Foundation Day on August 31, 2026, completing nine years as a brand and 14 years since founder Ravi Agarwal began his entrepreneurial journey with Unity Communications. The bigger story, however, is how the Cellecor product portfolio has evolved alongside its distribution network.

From distribution to a wider product portfolio

Cellecor’s expansion has followed a category-by-category approach. After entering mobile devices with feature phones, the company added accessories such as earphones and chargers, followed by smartwatches and TWS devices.

Smart TVs later brought the company into large-format entertainment. Its portfolio has since widened across mobile phones, accessories, neckbands, headphones, trimmers, speakers and laptops.

The biggest expansion has come in home appliances. Refrigerators, air conditioners, washing machines, geysers, coolers, fans, irons and room heaters now sit alongside kitchen products including mixer grinders, air fryers, rice cookers, blenders, toasters and electric kettles.

This shift turns Cellecor from a gadget-focused brand into a broader Cellecor home appliances and consumer electronics play.

Manufacturing now has a larger role

The growing range is also changing the company's manufacturing plans. Cellecor has established its first manufacturing footprint outside India in Liberia, Africa, after acquiring around 15 acres in the Buchanan Special Economic Zone.

The planned facility will cover manufacturing and assembly, testing, quality control, packaging, warehousing, logistics, regional distribution, localisation and exports. The move is intended to complement its India operations while supporting expansion into new markets.

Retail scale becomes the next test

Over the next three to five years, Cellecor plans to build around 5,000 distributors and 3 lakh retail touchpoints across India, alongside 20 to 25 exclusive brand stores.

That makes distribution central to its next growth phase. The company is also targeting a Rs. 5,000 crore business while seeking stronger national and international recognition.
