Commvault Global Centres of Excellence gain new leadership

Commvault has announced a leadership appointment linked to its Commvault Global Centres of Excellence, reinforcing the company’s focus on strengthening innovation, collaboration and operational execution across its global capability centre network.
Nithya Cadambi has been appointed General Manager of the Global Centres of Excellence (GCoEs). In this role, she will lead strategy, operational execution and talent development for the organisation’s centres, which support engineering, customer operations and innovation initiatives.
The appointment reflects the increasing strategic importance of the Commvault Global Centres of Excellence in the company’s global operating model. These centres serve as integrated hubs that connect multiple functions, including engineering, AI advancement, managed services and customer support.
Expanded responsibilities for global operations
Cadambi assumes the new role after serving as Senior Director, Finance at Commvault in India. In that position, she worked as a business partner to the organisation’s Chief Customer Officer team.
Her responsibilities included financial strategy, operational alignment and coordination across global customer-facing teams.
During this period, she supported initiatives aimed at improving operational execution and strengthening collaboration among teams involved in engineering, services, support and sales engineering.
The company said her appointment reflects both the impact of her work and the expanding role of the Commvault Global Centres of Excellence within its global capability centre structure.
India remains central to the capability network
Commvault has maintained operations in India for more than two decades, and the Commvault Global Centres of Excellence represent a key part of this long-term presence.
The centres bring together teams across the region to support several organisational functions, including technology development, AI initiatives and customer service operations.
Through this structure, the company aims to support innovation and operational scalability while building long-term capabilities across global teams.
Sarv Saravanan, Chief Customer Officer, Commvault, said the centres play an important role in the organisation’s global delivery model.
“Our Global Centres of Excellence are foundational to how we innovate and deliver for customers,” Saravanan said.
He added that Cadambi brings experience in financial strategy, operational management and team leadership, which are important in coordinating global operations and supporting customer-focused teams.
Focus on talent development and ecosystem engagement
In her new role leading the Commvault Global Centres of Excellence, Cadambi will also oversee several initiatives related to talent development and ecosystem collaboration.
Her responsibilities include expanding partnerships with universities and strengthening corporate social responsibility programmes connected to the capability centres.
These efforts are intended to support workforce development and build long-term talent pipelines for the organisation’s global operations.
Cadambi said her focus will be on building organisational capacity while maintaining alignment across teams.
“The opportunity ahead is about building scale with clarity and purpose,” she said.
She added that collaboration across teams and consistent execution will remain key priorities in supporting global customers.
Experience across technology and consulting organisations
Before joining Commvault, Cadambi held roles at Dell EMC and PwC, where she worked on business transformation and operational initiatives across global organisations.
Her experience across finance, strategy and operational functions forms part of the leadership approach she brings to the Commvault Global Centres of Excellence.
Strengthening global collaboration
The appointment signals Commvault’s continued investment in its global capability centre model.
By strengthening leadership for the Commvault Global Centres of Excellence, the company aims to improve coordination between its engineering, services and customer organisations.
The centres operate as integrated hubs that combine technology development, operational support and customer engagement. As enterprise technology environments become more complex, such global capability centres increasingly play a role in supporting innovation and scalable service delivery.
