Cyfuture CFO appointment brings Himanshu Gupta onboard
Cyfuture has appointed CA Himanshu Gupta as Chief Financial Officer, bringing nearly two decades of experience across corporate finance, fundraising, M&A, taxation, restructuring and business transformation.
The Cyfuture CFO appointment goes beyond the finance function. Gupta will oversee finance while also supporting strategic planning, financial governance, operational efficiency and the company’s next phase of growth.
New Cyfuture CFO brings high-growth experience
Before joining Cyfuture, Gupta served as Virtual CFO at saasifymyfinance, advising founders and leadership teams on strategic finance, fundraising, M&A and business operations.
He previously worked as Director – Corporate Finance at Shiprocket, where he focused on strategic finance initiatives, financial processes and IPO readiness. His earlier roles at CARS24 and Lenskart.com added experience in financial controls, restructuring, taxation and finance operations.
His career also includes around six years at KPMG, where he worked across taxation, assessments and regulatory developments, including the implementation of GST.
CFO appointment expands operations leadership role
Gupta’s appointment highlights a broader role for finance leadership at Cyfuture. His experience across fundraising, M&A, taxation, restructuring and operational finance gives him exposure to decisions that extend beyond financial reporting.
His academic background includes the Senior Management Programme from IIM Calcutta, along with studies in international taxation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
For Cyfuture, this appointment adds financial and strategic experience to its leadership team. The focus will be on strengthening financial governance while better aligning capital, operations and long-term growth priorities.
