Hikrobot India launches Hikpad AMR at automation expo

Hikrobot India has expanded its industrial automation portfolio with the launch of the Hikpad AMR at Automation Expo 2026 in Mumbai. Alongside the new autonomous mobile robot, the company showcased a wide range of machine vision products, reflecting the growing shift toward AI-driven automation and smarter manufacturing environments.
Hikpad AMR Highlights Smart Factory Automation
The launch of the Hikpad AMR marked Hikrobot India's latest step in supporting intelligent factory operations. The company also demonstrated Autonomous Mobile Robots and Forklift Mobile Robot variants, positioning robotics as a key enabler for smart logistics and Industry 4.0 applications.
Machine Vision Products Expand Industrial Automation
Beyond robotics, Hikrobot displayed its latest machine vision products, including the CI Series infrared cameras, CT Series Industrial Area Scan Cameras, MV-ID800 Series Compact Industrial Barcode Readers, Smart Cameras, Line Scan Cameras, 3D Laser Profile Sensors, HDMI Microscope Systems, and Static DWS solutions. The showcase highlighted technologies aimed at improving inspection accuracy, productivity, and operational safety across manufacturing environments.
Focus on AI-Driven Manufacturing
According to Ashish P. Dhakan, MD and CEO of Prama Hikvision India, the newly introduced Hikpad AMR supports smart logistics. At the same time, the CI Series infrared cameras enable precise temperature measurement and thermal defect detection. He added that the CT Series cameras with liquid lenses and MV-ID800 barcode readers are designed to improve efficiency, accuracy, and safety in Indian manufacturing.
Dhakan also noted that Industry 4.0 is driving demand for intelligent shop-floor technologies, with robotics and machine vision helping factories become more productive, data-driven, and secure.
