A bigger crowd does not always mean a stronger business event. InfoComm India 2026 offered a different signal. Its 13,275 business attendees were up 5.3% from 2025, but the more important story was the buying power and seniority behind that audience.
Held in Mumbai from September 16 to 18, the event brought together more than 4,500 organisations from 49 countries. Nearly two-thirds of attendees came from the AV channel, while 33% were technology end users. Almost four in ten visitors held owner, C-suite, director or head-of-function roles.
InfoComm attendance record comes with buying power
The numbers suggest that exhibitors were not simply meeting a larger audience. Fifty-four percent of attendees arrived with an approved AV budget for the next 12–18 months, while 80% could influence, specify or decide on purchases.
The scale of potential spending was also notable. Twenty-three percent had budgets above US$250,000, while 9% had budgets exceeding USD 1 million.
The curated Invited Guest Program added another layer, bringing 75 pre-qualified senior buyers with around USD 328.5 million in declared live project budgets. They completed 824 scheduled one-to-one meetings with exhibitors.
For the Pro AV India ecosystem, that changes the value of a trade show from visibility alone to direct access to active projects and decision-makers.

AI is becoming part of the Pro AV conversation
The exhibition floor also reflected where the market is heading. The event expanded its footprint by 17% and featured more than 130 new product launches across display, audio, collaboration, control, digital signage and broadcast.
AI was a defining theme, with more than one in ten products on display featuring embedded AI. These included AI-powered cameras, intelligent audio and predictive AV management.
That shift matters because buyers were able to see these capabilities running in actual products rather than only hearing about them in presentations.
Buyer engagement is becoming the real metric
Engagement extended beyond the exhibition floor. Opening-day attendance increased 10.6% year-on-year, while one in three visitors attended for at least two days. Repeat visits during the show also rose 14.8%.
The InfoComm India Summit added 43 sessions, 102 speakers and 2,467 session attendances, with average session attendance up 25%.
For InfoComm India 2026, the takeaway is therefore broader than a record attendance figure. The event is increasingly connecting the Pro AV ecosystem with buyers who have budgets, projects and decision-making authority, while AI and new product categories reshape what those buyers are looking for.
