KPMG and Zoho alliance reshapes enterprise cloud strategy

India’s enterprise technology landscape is moving toward more connected systems, and the KPMG and Zoho alliance is aimed at addressing that shift. The partnership brings KPMG’s consulting and advisory capabilities in India together with Zoho’s portfolio of more than 60 cloud-based business applications.

The focus is not limited to technology deployment. The two companies plan to work across advisory, implementation and managed services, while also exploring reseller and co-selling models.

A broader approach to digital transformation

The KPMG and Zoho alliance comes as enterprises look for AI-driven, scalable and privacy-first Cloud SaaS solutions. The companies say the partnership will focus particularly on mid-market and large enterprises that are working to improve agility, automation and data-driven decision-making.

The model also covers governance and long-term value realisation. That makes the alliance less about adding another application and more about connecting technology adoption with wider business priorities.

For enterprises, the practical question will be how easily different systems, data and workflows can work together. Zoho's cloud portfolio and KPMG's advisory and implementation capabilities are intended to address that challenge.

From consulting to managed services

The partnership will use multiple engagement models, including alliance, managed services and reseller structures. It will also cover joint go-to-market efforts, co-selling, co-delivery, reseller enablement and industry-specific solution development.

This could give Enterprise SaaS India buyers more flexibility in how they approach transformation projects. Instead of separating strategy, implementation and ongoing support, the companies intend to work across the wider transformation lifecycle.

The alliance also brings Cloud business applications into a consulting-led delivery model, with Zoho solutions potentially being used within KPMG-led managed services.

AI, integration and privacy take centre stage

A key issue highlighted by Zoho is the problem of disconnected tools and siloed data. According to the company, these gaps can make it harder for businesses to scale their digital operations and AI initiatives.

The partnership therefore puts integrated cloud solutions and AI cloud tools at the centre of its proposition. Zoho also highlighted its ownership of the technology stack, including its AI layer, in the context of privacy, data residency and governance.

For enterprises, that focus could make the governance side of Digital transformation as important as the technology itself.
