Kyndryl and GCC consulting firm Bridgepath Innovations have announced a collaboration to help enterprises design, build, operate and scale AI-native GCCs. The proposed model combines digital and data foundations with AI-led automation and in-house capability building.
AI-native GCCs move beyond traditional models
The partnership comes as enterprises rethink how GCCs operate. According to Kyndryl and Bridgepath, traditional labour-arbitrage-led approaches are reaching their limits as AI changes how global delivery models are designed and run.
Their approach puts AI closer to the core of the operating model. That means using it across delivery, operations and governance rather than treating it as an additional technology layer.
The companies say the model is intended to support faster project execution, improved productivity and more efficient use of talent across global teams.
AI Global Capability Centres need stronger foundations
The proposed operating model focuses on building the digital and data foundations needed to support AI at scale. It also includes defined service structures, AI-driven decision-making and capabilities that enterprises can develop internally.
This points to a broader change in AI Global Capability Centres. The emphasis is not only on deploying AI tools, but on building an operating structure where AI becomes part of how work is designed and delivered.
