Kyndryl and Pidilite push IT modernization forward with Google Cloud

Pidilite Industries has completed its IT modernisation with Google Cloud, moving its non-ERP workloads from on-premises and existing cloud environments. The project, delivered with Kyndryl, also marks the company's data centre exit and moves it into an ongoing cloud managed services model.

The results are already visible. The company has reported a 20% improvement in service response, a 30% reduction in infrastructure provisioning and turnaround times, along with more consistent performance across its application landscape.

Non-ERP workloads migration moves Pidilite to Google Cloud

The project focused on moving Pidilite's non-ERP workloads to Google Cloud from its on-premises infrastructure and existing cloud environments.

For Pidilite, the shift is part of a wider digital transformation journey. The company says the new environment is intended to support its growth strategy while creating the infrastructure foundation for future data and AI-led transformation.

Completing the data centre exit is another major outcome of the project. Pidilite is now operating its migrated workloads in a fully live production environment, supported by ongoing cloud managed services.
