MSI Cubi NUC AI+ 3MG adds AI to Mini PCs

MSI is pushing the compact PC category further with the MSI Cubi NUC AI+ 3MG, a 0.51-liter Copilot+ PC built around on-device AI and enterprise connectivity. Rather than simply shrinking a conventional desktop, the system combines Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, multi-display support and high-speed networking in a footprint designed for modern business environments.

The approach points to a practical shift in how compact desktops can be positioned. The MSI compact Mini PC is designed not only for everyday computing, but also for AI-driven workloads, digital signage and edge computing where space, connectivity and deployment flexibility matter.

MSI Cubi NUC AI+ 3MG brings AI into compact computing

At its core, the Cubi NUC series desktop uses Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors to provide on-device AI performance while maintaining power efficiency. Its 0.51-liter chassis keeps the system remarkably small, but MSI has still built in features aimed at business users.

The machine includes dual Thunderbolt 4 ports capable of supporting up to four simultaneous displays. That gives users room to build multi-screen workstations while keeping the actual PC footprint small. For enterprise deployments, the dual 2.5G Ethernet ports add high-speed networking and support use cases such as digital signage and edge computing.

Intel Core Ultra processor with NPU supports AI workloads

The focus on AI extends beyond processing power. By combining the latest Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors with an NPU, the device is positioned for AI-driven workloads and mini PC use cases where on-device AI capability is part of the computing experience.

MSI has also focused on the less visible side of deployment. A fingerprint-recognition power button provides secure authentication, while the tool-free chassis allows easier hardware access for upgrades and maintenance. An integrated cable organiser is designed to reduce accidental disconnections, particularly in kiosks, compact desks and vertical installations.

Compact design also brings an enterprise focus

The Cubi NUC AI+ 3MG's appeal is therefore not limited to size. Its combination of connectivity, security and maintenance features makes the MSI compact Mini PC suited to environments where conventional desktop hardware can be difficult to place or manage.

The design also includes post-consumer recycled plastics and FSC-certified packaging. This adds a sustainability element without changing the system's focus on durability and business deployment.
