Inside Livpure Sustainable Manufacturing Practices and Expansion

Livpure is positioning itself as more than a water purification company. As it expands across India's growing wellness market, the company is building its strategy around manufacturing quality, sustainability, technology, and wider consumer access. The latest details from its Manesar facility offer a closer look at how that transition is taking shape.
Manufacturing becomes a growth engine
At the center of Livpure's strategy is its Manesar facility in Haryana, described by the company as a "Craftroom" where product development, engineering, and manufacturing come together. The facility handles end-to-end production of key components, including RO membranes, booster pumps, filters, armatures, and final purifier assembly.
The emphasis is on control and consistency. Every water purifier undergoes functional testing, while RO membranes are validated for performance and leak resistance. Environmental testing capabilities also help evaluate product reliability across different operating conditions.
This approach reflects a broader industry trend where manufacturing is becoming a strategic differentiator rather than just a production function.
Sustainability moves beyond compliance
A key element of the company's growth narrative is its focus on sustainability. Livpure's sustainable manufacturing practices extend across packaging, resource conservation, and waste management initiatives.
Under its circular economy program, the company reported reprocessing waste through its EPR compliance efforts. It has also begun replacing thermocol packaging with biodegradable alternatives. Resource-saving measures have reduced paper consumption while contributing to water and energy conservation.
These initiatives suggest that sustainability is being embedded into operations rather than treated as a standalone program.
Building a connected wellness ecosystem
Livpure's ambitions now extend across four categories: water, air, sleep, and kitchen appliances. In water, the company combines traditional purifier ownership with its water as a service subscription model, offering IoT-enabled purification across multiple cities.
The portfolio also includes maintenance-free purifiers featuring the Livpure 2X Power Filter lifespan proposition, alongside smart air coolers, sleep products, and connected kitchen solutions.
By leveraging a common service, technology, and distribution backbone, Livpure aims to deepen long-term consumer engagement across categories.
Expanding reach through experience-led retail
The next phase of growth focuses on accessibility. Alongside a network of more than 10,000 retail counters and 1,000 distributors, Livpure plans to launch over 100 Studios and expand its Livpure Homes format.
These experience-led retail spaces are designed to help consumers interact with the company's connected wellness ecosystem, particularly across Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets.
