BVM 2026 Targets Global Trade Opportunities with 5,000 Foreign Delegates

Bharatiya Vyapar Mahotsav (BVM) 2026 is set to bring an international business focus to Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, with organisers highlighting plans to mobilise more than 5,000 foreign delegates, importers and sourcing agents for the event.
Scheduled from August 12 to August 15, 2026, the event is being positioned as a platform where Indian MSMEs, manufacturers and businesses can engage with overseas buyers and international market participants. The initiative aims to create opportunities for business networking, sourcing partnerships and cross-border trade discussions.
International participation forms a key focus of BVM 2026
According to information released as part of the event outreach campaign, BVM 2026 will seek to create direct interactions between Indian enterprises and global business representatives. Organisers have highlighted the participation of verified foreign delegates as one of the central elements of the event.
The initiative is expected to provide a common meeting point for businesses looking to explore export opportunities, international sourcing requirements and potential commercial collaborations. The event messaging also emphasises the role of global capital and international business engagement in supporting growth opportunities for Indian enterprises.
Opportunities for MSMEs and manufacturers
A key focus of BVM 2026 is the creation of business connections between Indian manufacturers and overseas markets. By bringing together foreign delegates, sourcing agents and importers under one roof, the event seeks to facilitate discussions that could lead to long-term trade relationships and market expansion opportunities.
The organisers have also underlined the importance of creating access points for MSMEs that may be looking to expand beyond domestic markets and engage directly with international buyers.
BVM 2026 is being organised as a joint initiative of ITPO, a Government of India company, and CAIT, a federation representing more than 48,000 associations.
Radio campaign to support event outreach
As part of its outreach efforts, the event is also being supported through a radio campaign that is scheduled to run across 12 states and 19 cities until August 15. The campaign includes daily radio promos, RJ mentions, OB bytes and digital engagement activities designed to increase awareness about the event.
The outreach programme will also include social media posts, digital stories and live interactions. Organisers have additionally allocated space for a live studio setup at the venue, enabling radio broadcasts and interviews with dignitaries and other participants attending the event.
Integrated media and on-ground engagement
The campaign will feature collaborative digital content and venue branding activities alongside live radio coverage by Ishq FM. Interviews conducted during the event are expected to be broadcast as part of the programming, extending discussions beyond the exhibition floor.
With its emphasis on foreign delegate participation, international sourcing opportunities and business networking, BVM 2026 is positioning itself as a platform aimed at strengthening connections between Indian enterprises and global markets.
