HPE unifies partner programmes into a channel growth model

HPE has announced a unified global partner programme that brings together the HPE and Juniper Networks channel ecosystems under a single framework, marking a major milestone in the integration of the two companies following HPE's acquisition of Juniper Networks.

Beginning 1 November 2026, partners will operate under a consolidated HPE Partner Ready Vantage programme featuring a common set of membership tiers, competencies, incentives and compensation structures across networking, cloud, AI and hybrid infrastructure offerings. HPE said the unified structure is designed to simplify partner engagement while protecting existing partner investments.

The announcement forms part of HPE's broader strategy to create what it describes as “one portfolio, one programme and one experience” across the combined organisation.

HPE positioned the announcement as a growth initiative for the combined partner ecosystem. The company said the unified programme, expanded partner-led service offerings and new competency-based incentives are designed to help partners increase revenue opportunities across networking, AI, cloud and hybrid infrastructure while simplifying engagement with the combined HPE-Juniper portfolio.

“Partners want a simpler way to engage and a bigger opportunity to grow,” said Simon Ewington, Senior Vice President, Worldwide Channel and Partner Ecosystem at HPE. “With a unified programme across HPE and Juniper, aligned incentives, and expanded partner-led offers, we are making it easier for partners to win more business across networking, cloud and AI.”

Unified Framework Across HPE and Juniper

The latest move extends the integration strategy first outlined at HPE Discover Barcelona 2025. At that event in December last, HPE had unveiled plans to bring together Aruba and Juniper networking platforms through a common AI-native architecture, shared AIOps capabilities and unified operational intelligence. The Las Vegas announcement extends that convergence beyond technology into partner engagement, incentives and go-to-market operations.

Under the revised structure, HPE is expanding Partner Ready Vantage across Build, Sell and Service tracks.

Within the Build track, HPE is integrating the HPE Technology Partner Programme into an expanded Technology Validation Center while aligning it more closely with the company's Unleash AI ecosystem. HPE said the move will simplify solution validation, interoperability testing and readiness certification across the combined portfolio.

HPE said selected members of its Unleash AI ecosystem have already been validated on NVIDIA accelerated computing platforms and integrated with HPE AI Factory solutions, including HPE Private Cloud AI. The company said the tighter alignment is intended to help partners accelerate AI solution development and deployment.

The company is also introducing a Customer Use Case Hub that will allow partners to showcase validated solutions and promote customer adoption across AI, hybrid cloud, networking and edge environments.

HPE said the initiative is intended to help partners accelerate time-to-market, improve solution interoperability and demonstrate validated AI, hybrid cloud, networking and edge use cases to customers.

The Sell track introduces aligned incentives across the HPE and Juniper product portfolio. The company is extending competency-based financial rewards beyond traditional medallion status, enabling eligible partners to earn rebates for technical expertise, broader solution-selling capabilities and new-customer acquisition.

HPE also announced standardised incentives for storage opportunities. According to the company, partners can achieve margin opportunities of up to 24% on competitive storage replacement projects when combined with relevant competencies and solution-specific rebates.

Services and Virtualisation Take Centre Stage

The Service track introduces partner-branded services that allow qualified partners to deliver services under their own brand while leveraging HPE's engineering, logistics and escalation support capabilities.

HPE is also expanding partner-led migration, lifecycle management and technical support services designed to create new recurring revenue opportunities.

The company is simultaneously increasing channel-exclusive routes to market. Beginning 1 July 2026, HPE Private Cloud PC3000, HPE SimpliVity PC1000 and HPE Zerto Software will be available exclusively through channel partners for new business opportunities.

A significant part of the announcement centres on virtualisation. HPE introduced a platform migration programme for organisations seeking alternatives to their existing virtualisation environments.

New VM Essentials customers can receive up to one year of VM Essentials and HPE Zerto licences for a nominal fee, while also gaining access to financing support through HPE Financial Services. The programme is intended to reduce migration risks and help customers avoid double-paying during virtualisation transitions.

To accelerate partner expertise, HPE is introducing VM Essentials for Partner IT, enabling partners to deploy the software within their own environments. The first 600 partners that achieve the Private Cloud with Virtualisation competency by the end of 2026 will receive VM Essentials software licences free of charge for three years, paying only support costs.

HPE is also expanding opportunities for cloud service providers through HPE CloudOps Software, which helps partners build, operate and monetise differentiated private cloud services through capabilities such as multi-tenancy, self-service provisioning, software-defined networking, policy-based governance and cost management. The accompanying HPE Cloud Commit programme provides preferential pricing and service benefits linked to committed spending levels.

Sustainability and Financing Incentives Expand

The company also shared that it is introducing sustainability-focused competencies, tools and dashboards through Partner Ready Vantage and HPE Financial Services. The company said these capabilities are designed to help partners deliver efficiency-led outcomes and lower operating costs in increasingly power-hungry AI environments.

The company is further enhancing HPE Financial Services with new financing options, pricing flexibility and expanded credit support. HPE said it is proactively reviewing and, where possible, increasing available credit capacity for both new and existing customers to support infrastructure modernisation projects.

As part of its one-experience strategy, HPE is also introducing a unified partner portal, a common onboarding process, an integrated deal registration system and a consolidated development funds programme.

To support enterprise AI adoption, HPE is expanding its global network of HPE Private Cloud AI testing sites and services. The company said the initiative will help customers validate and operationalise AI deployments while creating additional engagement and service opportunities for partners.
