Cloudflare OS AI workspace rethinks enterprise AI

Cloudflare OS AI workspace is no longer just an internal tool. Cloudflare has announced the launch of its open-source AI workspace, giving organizations access to the same platform its own employees use to research, automate tasks, create applications, and work with internal systems. Rather than asking companies to build AI infrastructure from scratch, the platform is designed to help enterprises deploy AI securely with fewer development hurdles.

Open source AI workspace built for enterprise productivity

The company positions Cloudflare OS as an AI workspace that connects employees with company knowledge, documents, and workflows through secure access controls. Instead of creating copies of enterprise data, it links existing systems using governed access while keeping security and compliance intact.

Cloudflare says the platform allows employees to generate documents, automate repetitive work, and even build lightweight applications without developer expertise. Because it runs within an organization's own Cloudflare account, businesses retain ownership of their data, workflows, and AI deployments rather than relying on a closed ecosystem.

Agentic AI workspace backed by Zero Trust

A major part of the platform is its Zero Trust approach. Every user request is verified before access is granted, while AI agents receive only the permissions required for a specific task. Governed connectors, called Gatekeepers, allow organizations to decide exactly what enterprise systems AI can access and when human approval is required.

The platform also supports multiple AI models through Cloudflare AI Gateway, giving organizations flexibility while offering visibility into AI spending across teams, applications, and departments.
