The platform combines a true Common Data Environment with a live digital twin that links BIM, drawings, schedules, costs, RFIs and changes into a single, traceable system. Unlike passive CDEs, it offers real‑time context and impact visibility for every decision taken on a project. Sitting above this is Krion6i, the company’s AI layer, which continuously analyses project data to surface early warnings, insights and recommendations. The 15% reduction in cost overruns, Ramasamy explained, comes from a combination of coordinated project data, AI‑driven risk detection, automated quantification, faster resolution of RFIs and changes, and prescriptive decision support, the cumulative effect of which is to shift project teams from reactive issue management to proactive, insight‑led control, catching cost and schedule risks before they escalate.

Krion6i analyses model, image and site data to deliver predictive insights and decision support, while IoT feeds real‑time operational data into the twin for continuous monitoring and optimisation. Augmented, virtual and mixed reality, powered by Krion6i, enable AI‑assisted quality and inspection workflows, including AR‑based detection of construction issues, snags and deviations by comparing site conditions against the digital twin. Together, these capabilities support immersive reviews, guided execution and faster quality closure, allowing human teams and intelligent systems to work alongside each other while improving productivity, predictability and sustainability.
One Standard, Many Industries
Krion’s client base ranges from aerospace to EPC, a spread that raises an obvious question: does the methodology change from sector to sector, or does the company apply one standardised approach throughout? Ramasamy’s answer was that it does both. “We standardise the foundation through ISO 19650 and global BIM standards, while customising execution for sectors like buildings, infrastructure, defence and EPC,” he said.
That foundation, built on ISO 19650 principles and global BIM standards, covers data structuring, information management, digital twins and automation, ensuring consistency, governance and interoperability across projects and geographies. On top of it, the methodology is adapted to regional regulations and sector‑specific needs across buildings, infrastructure such as roads and railways, defence infrastructure, and EPC projects. Domain‑specific workflows, data models, compliance requirements and KPIs are configured for each sector, allowing Krion to standardise at scale while staying practically relevant on the ground.
Betting on Singapore and the United States
Krion’s next phase of growth is built around two markets: Singapore and the United States. “Singapore and the USA represent the convergence of standards, technology and AI‑led transformation, making them ideal launchpads for scaling intelligent digital twin solutions globally,” Ramasamy said.
Singapore was chosen for its leadership in high technology adoption and its position as a hub for Southeast Asia’s infrastructure and advanced manufacturing growth, backed by strong government‑led adoption of digital twins, BIM standards, smart infrastructure and AI initiatives. The USA, meanwhile, offers the world’s largest market for construction technology, digital twins and AI‑enabled platforms, supported by mature industry standards, established innovation ecosystems and a strong push toward automation and intelligence at scale. Together, Ramasamy said, the two regions provide the ideal environment for scaling Krion’s AI‑driven digital twin solutions globally.
Security First for Government, Speed First for Contractors
Entering two new markets at once raises the question of where to focus first. Ramasamy’s answer split the strategy by customer type. “From secure on‑premise digital twins for government and utilities to AI‑driven, repeatable delivery models for large contractors, our focus is on scale, security and speed to value,” he said.
For data-sensitive customers such as defence, government agencies, utilities and critical infrastructure owners, Krion will prioritise Krion 6D deployments built on on‑premises, high-security architectures designed to meet stringent security, compliance and data sovereignty requirements. For large enterprises, the focus shifts to custom digital twin and BIM/VDC solutions integrated with existing systems, including ERP, asset management and project controls, deployed within the customer’s own data centres. Alongside this, Krion plans to roll out AI‑driven, repeatable digital twin and automation solutions for large general contractors, enabling scalable, standardised project delivery across their portfolios.
