How Altos BrainSphere R300, R370 brings sovereign GPU infrastructure in focus

The launch of Altos BrainSphere R300 and R370 in New Delhi signals a growing shift towards sovereign AI infrastructure designed for India’s rapidly expanding data centre ecosystem. As enterprises accelerate AI adoption, the need for optimised GPU utilisation, local data processing and scalable hybrid infrastructure is becoming central to digital strategy.

Here's the full coverage:

Sudhir Goel, CBO, Acer, highlighted that the BrainSphere platforms integrate AI Works software with perpetual licensing to help data centre administrators monitor and optimise GPU allocation across workloads. This capability enables organisations to improve hardware efficiency, manage resource allocation and align infrastructure performance with evolving AI requirements.

Goel emphasised that data sovereignty is increasingly influencing enterprise decision-making as organisations prioritise hosting and processing critical data within India. Regulatory developments around data protection and financial data localisation are driving demand for local AI servers and high-performance computing environments. This shift is creating significant opportunities for system integrators and channel partners to design customised infrastructure solutions combining compute, networking and security capabilities.

He also noted that the Make in India initiative enables greater flexibility in configuring server architectures aligned with specific workload requirements. As hybrid AI deployments across on-prem, cloud, and edge environments continue to evolve, partners are expected to play a key role in enabling scalable, compliant and performance-driven infrastructure deployments.
